Your son is too young to even be considered for diagnosis. I wouldn’t worry. My oldest and youngest have adhd as well as my nephew, the earliest they will evaluate even is 4.

@davidmom, ya I would take that with a grain of salt. Not saying he won’t have it but at almost 2 being hyper is not uncommon and he is too young to tell if he has issues with attention.

Sometimes kids just have more energy than others. Sometimes it’s more. Another avenue to explore is sensory issues. Some kids are hypo-sensitive and are sensory seekers.

@laniejay his Dr said we will look into other thing in September at his next appt
