I delivered within 4.5 hrs of my sweep lol... if your body isn’t ready sweep won’t do anything though so it may not have worked for you anyways.

They swept mine with my second son at 38.4 weeks, I was about 4-5 cm and delivered just under 7 hours later.

When do they offer this I forgot my OB didn't do mine the first time til my due date I was 40 weeks... and I had her the next morning but it's been about 4 yrs so

@keeondracarroll01, it’s worth a try, but it depends on how ready your body is, so just have an open mind and keep your fingers crossed!

@keeondracarroll01, @brooklyn_corey, I tagged the wrong person in my last comment I think lol.. I was induced with 2 out of 3 of my boys, my second son’s was my membrane sweep with no Pitocin. Try to avoid Pitocin unless necessary, and if you do need it and plan on using pain meds, ask as soon as you can bc that stuff is horrific! I asked for my epidural too late with my last and got to feel the ring of fire and my vajay being ripped in half! 😭
