When did you ladies get your daughters ears pierced?

I got both mine done after their 2 month shots

Just before her first birthday.

We were told, though, that it’s best to do it before they find their ears (so they won’t play with them) or once they’re old enough to ask for them

After her 6 month shots

After her 4 months shots

I didn’t get my daughters done. It looks cute on babies but I wanted to let her make the decision.

@patsfan32, I love the idea of this and was exactly what I was planning to do! I want to wait until she can earn it and understand what it is to care for them.

Please please please as a former tattoo artist and piercer do not go to the mall and use one of those cheap, disgusting, full is diseases guns that could scar or disfigure your baby in some way. If you’re gonna pierce your babies ears (I had mine done at 6 weeks so don’t see an issue with it) go to a professional, sterile tattoo parlor where someone whose at least wearing gloves can use a packaged, sterilized needle properly

I went to take her at 2 months to a professional at a tattoo shop ..he told me it would be best after her 4 month shots..so I went back after her shots and took my own 14k gold ear rings ..was so much better than getting them done with a gun like Clair's
