So I got the IUD a couple weeks ago but I've been having really bad cramps for a couple days now but I don't know if it would be my period because I've been constantly bleeding from the iud...anyone else experience this? HELPPPPP MEEEEE

Yes, blood loss is bad with the IUD. My period is longer and the blood is more than before I got the birth control. If you’ve recently stopped breastfeeding that may also have to do with your period.

My cramps are horrible with the Paraguard. And I’ve had mine for two years.

Yup but I have the copper one it will get better. I love it now

It takes a few weeks to get the hormones into the system and balanced out. I cramped for a month after my IUD was put in. My periods were whack for about 6 months and then over time I didn't even have one anymore. Be patient!
