So I switched my son to his crib three nights ago. He does great , but he spins himself in circles…

You could get a mesh breathable crib liner it’ll help and he won’t get his arms stuck or his legs stuck. They are safer then normal bumpers

Even the mesh bumpers aren't really recommended to use. My son sleeps with his legs sticking out every night. The slats are big enough that they won't get stuck (he's almost 2.5 years old and his legs still fit through).

@blakeslatinmama, yeah I reposition him but I get scared to wake him up lol @mokimbo, and yeah but my son still has a soft spot I’m more concerned about him banging that really then his legs

@briannalynn547 the mesh bumpers aren't going to do much to cushion the bars, they are very thin. He's not going to be able to bang his head into them hard enough to do any damage to his soft spot.

@briannalynn547 so was/is mine. I swore he would end up with bruises the way he would bang his head into the sides (this was when he was over a year) but he has never even had a mark. Even if he hits his head really hard on the bars, because they are straight there is no way for them to push into his soft spot.
