When you wake up almost late for work because you feel like it was supposed to be a day off go to…

I woke up at 5 am because hubby had to go to work I usually go back to sleep around 7 am but I been up since 5 am because it's my day off today I was going to go back to sleep but then my kid's woke up and were like "mom get up don't go back to sleep you need to spend the whole day with us" so I was like OK guess no more sleeping and I will just go shower and finish washing the blankets then we are going to the store... I hadn't been off during the week so my boy's are excited and happy that I am off and I am happy I am off too I really needed a day off during the week to spend it with my babies 😍😍😍

@loving_the_mommy_life, I wanted more sleep too but of course after getting ready for work and going I am wide awake and the kids are too now, now I have to work from 2:45 till 11:00 than go back in at 6:45. I worked both of my days off last week to make up hours I was gone on vacation ( haven’t earned pto yet) I was off yesterday but one day don’t cut it, and I work tomorrow as well that was a day off, but with school starting and both my daughters birthdays in August I only get one more pay check before than so I need all the hours I can get. .... it’s cute your children want you to spend the whole day with them, I know our kids miss us since we all work so much.

Yes we got to work to make money but it's sad we don't get much time with our kid's...

My boy's have been on summer vacations and this is the first year I am working while they are out of school and I didn't get to spend much time with them this summer 😢
