I tore decently bad 3rd degree tear; and I’m just curious how long it took for other ladies stitches scars to go away? Or even just look fully healed down there.
It’s been about 4 1/2 weeks and it does look better of course but I can just see where the tear was and all the stitches marks. Kinda just guessing it’s gonna be longer then 6 weeks..
Just bugs me out I can see the stitch marks so much n whatnot.. Feel like frankstein down there 😒 doesn’t help my self confidence for when me n my SO can finally have sex

You are brave I had a second degree and choose not to look . Some times I still feel a little irritated when we do the deed

@alishap1212, Lolol trust me the first week I was home I didn’t wanna look at all but peeked just bc I wanted to make sure it was clean and nothing hung up on my stitches and after that I kept looking to check and make sure None of my stitches broke..
my heart would have dropped to have them replaced 😩
But god I can imagine, ur 5months postpartum right? I hope everything heals back good. I was restricted sex in my third trimester be nice to enjoy it when I can n not feel just pain ugh
