Youre the 38 weeks. Its highly unlikely your baby will be in nicu. My babies were both born at 38 weeks and healthy as can be.

@lizsouthwick you're at term. Around 36-37 the lungs still form and they may have issues breathing. At 38 weeks the babys lungs are formed. I honestly think you'll be fine

@vvrobinson, good! My ob said he may have issues since my glucose has been all messed up. I guess because once he’s born, he’s cut off of the “sugar supply” so they have to regulate his insulin or something 🤷🏼‍♀️ hoping of course everything is smooth & he’s perfect!

@lizsouthwick i really hope so too. Just stay positive. Dont panic. But bring your pump just in case. Usually they let you have skin to skin right after they pull the baby out and weigh them. So you can try latching and maybe you wont need to pump. I was really hoping i wouldnt have to pump this time and I didnt. You never know 🤷🏼‍♀️😊

No. They have the best hospital grade pumps there! They will give you a kit to use with it.

when my baby was in the nicu they had a pump in her room so i can use
