Dogs and cats are susceptible to this cryptic pregnancy thing where their uterus fills up with pus and usually by the time they start showing symptoms of it its too late its a $3000+ surgery to remove the whole reproductive system and only has about a 50% chance of saving the animal. My cousins dog just died from it not even a month ago
