Keep the dog with parvo isolated from the rest of the dogs and disinfect the whole house with bleach. Keep the dog hydrated every hour with pedialyte use a syringe if it doesn’t want to drink and just keep giving it the medicine the vet prescribed. If the dog isn’t eating you can try giving it rice with chicken broth or some baby food. My 3 mo puppy has parvo and I tested him myself he’s a year old now.

@mommytoaprinceandaprincess I feel you and our puppy was about about 8 weeks to but he didn't have it he was good but he had got his early I was so upset about it the people I brought her from had me tight ooo I pray he don't got it just keep faith he don't I wish you the best and prayers up cause that's though loosing a fur baby I was hurt and pissed but what I did was got him out the house and my boys out and ammonia the whole house down and we stayed away from the house for like three days make sure the area the other pup was in get really cleaned up

@ambrerumph1440, yeah we found out he had his shots but apparently not I’m so upset and I’m scared because our 6 week old puppy just got her shots Friday :((( the vet hospital said most likely she has it too and recommend calling our vet tomorrow so I got to call the vet as soon as they open but she’s not having any symptoms

I hope they caught it in time we got a Pitt puppy that had it took her to the vet within a hour of finding out she had it she died in my lap I was destroyed was told she had her shots we only had her for about a week but she played with our other Pitt fine but we had him vaccinated and instantly took him to the vet also when we found out she had it she stood up and blood just filled the floor

Hope your dog pulls through. We saved a dog from parvo. It took a 700$ vet bill but shes perfectly fine now.

Electrolytes help too. Like a sugar free gatorade. My mum saved a Rottweiler that was tied to a fence when I was a kid, it was dying from parvo and in the late stage of having it. She gave him raw garlic knobs wrapped in cheese and electrolyte powder mixed with water.

Ugh I know you've already heard it but should have gotten him his shot! But we did save a dog that had parvo.. whatever you do shove those medications down his throat.. and dont let him get out he could run away to die. Prayers for the poor poor pup😭

The vet said we don’t know if we caught it early they said they have seen dogs fine one minute and on their death bed the next it depends if the dog can fight it off

The vet gave us an iv bag to give fluids nausea medicine to keep him from throwing and antibiotic and I been shoving Gatorade down his throat

If it’s early I’d try whatever you can quick . Parvo is fast moving and very painful. I hope your pup ends up alright !

Boil some milk with garlic and give it to him, that’s what saved my pit when he had parvo and also lots of pedialyte
