Any moms know how to correct bad latching? I could take her off and try all different positions but her latch always seems to be the same. She makes that clicking sound while nursing. Its not super painful for me (yet) and shes swollowimg with pretty much every suck but i know shes not supposed to make that noise.

You need to pinch your nipple so it points up towards the top of her mouth and place it inside when she opens to get a deep latch. They learn correct latch with practice, don't let her take the nipple herself if she's doing it wrong because it creates bad habit.

It takes time to get the latching right. Just keep trying. I let my girls attach themselves the way theyre comfortable and i adjust them if need be. Lactation consultants have shown me how to do the "proper" latch but its not for everyone. There is no specific one type of latch, they are unique with each child. Once you see shes latched comfortably and youre not in pain and her diapers are going good i wouldnt stress about the latching.

@kambam ive been pinching my nipple and placing it and she stays for about 2 seconds then just slightly pulls her head back and it goes bad. She gets so frustrated when i take her off to fix it

Good just keep correcting it. She has to learn. Make sure you're both comfortable, she's close to your body belly to belly.

I have 3 kids and thought I was a pro but with this baby I was having trouble latching her right bc it felt like my nipples were ripping off and I was in tears. My baby pediatrician suggested researching deep latching techniques and this video even if its old helped... It helped and within days my nipples was better and havent had trouble since....

With my daughter she has a lip tie and I have to like pull her lip out to latch right
