How long do you have to be having contractions in order to go to the hospital?

5 mins apart or less on a regular basis they can’t be inconsistent so at least an hr

I go every time mine r either 5 mins apart or 2 mins apart

That’s the problem I have@melissaortega1995, I’ve never timed my contractions I’ve always gone when they were unbearable I’m not sure I even know how to time contractions

Exactly go get seen u could be in labor or pre term labor

Go to l&d you’re 40 weeks it sounds like beginning of labor

5 mins apart lasting 1 minute for 1 hr. (Dont quote me on that) maby call L&D and ask?

If it’s been more than an hr and you know they are really consistent id go get check it’s probably time !! I don’t think they’ll send you home at 40 weeks with consistent contractions !! Good luck
