Need birth control recommendations. And pros and cons. I’m thinking about going with the arm implant…

I have an IUD and I have no complaints yet. I’ve had it since September last year

First few months it was normal period. Now I just spot every month . But the spotting will last a few more days than usually . @emilymarie1357,

I have the mirena. I bled a lot in the beginning now I only spot here and there and it’s rare. I spotted for 2 days last time not even enough to get on my underwear. I have heard horror stories about the arm one. I would just talk to your doctor. When I went to talk to mine she explained every single one to me. Even all the options of which IUD to get.

They all have their pros and cons... I had Nexplanon... gained a ton if weight and then it broke. It basically liquified my uterus thinning the lining so bad I had to have 4 surgeries. I can no longer have children. I am a <1% case but id never recommend it to anyone ever.

I just took mine out. I gained a lot of weight , got Moody , migraines & felt pregnant. It didn't work for me at all. I'm now on the pill

I love mine no weight gain or anything like that. I will ocisoanlly get a headache but I don't known if its caused from the birth control or not. Everyone's body will react differently. Talk to your dr to see what they have to say about the one you want. They can give more info
