I know I’m still young and may change my mind later but right now I’m completely happy just having…

I don’t know if I would say “terrified” but it took me awhile to be ready again. My kids are almost 4 years apart.

Im not really scared I just don’t wanna do it again, I’m gonna be 22 in November so I’m young too but I just don’t think I can handle another child because I don’t wanna go through being sick for 9 months like I was with my son and I don’t wanna go through labor again I had to push for 3 hours I know that might not happen again but still I just don’t wanna do it again, I almost blacked out during labor from having a panic attack, and I just don’t wanna do that again, my son got stuck twice, and was in danger it was just too much for me

@justgotaname, I know a lot of my issue is my extreme anxiety but I also just don’t feel like I’m completely ready yet. My daughter is almost a year and a half and she’s a HANDFUL 😂 I also don’t have much help with her as it is like I’m with her literally 24/7 and I know with her being so attached to me that having a baby right now is just gonna make it really hard on the both of us. There just seems to be more reasons “not to” than there is reasons to do it.

I also ripped in 3 places when I had my son and I just don’t wanna do it again lol 😂 I’m a stay at home mom too btw

@caseyann19, give yourself time. Maybe you’ll change your mind and maybe you won’t. Having kids close together isn’t for everyone!

@yvelid, I almost had an emergency csection. Her cord was around her neck and we didn’t know it until she was born we just knew that her heart rate kept dropping and that I was running out of fluid and she wasn’t coming yet. They stopped my pitocin and put more fluid in there for her and kind of let me relax for a little bit before starting up again and after that it went pretty smoothly (other than the damn shakes that my epidural gave me) but I think I may want another one just not yet. The pregnancy part doesn’t really scare me as much as labor does. I guess I’ll just have to sit down with my SO and explain to him that I’m just not ready yet instead of brushing it off like a joke when he mentions it 😔

We weren't really planning but we're set to wait at least til I was ready but we were using condoms as a birth control and one of them I guess had a hole and poof, I'm pregnant with my 2nd little guy. I wouldn't trade him for the world though, although I am terrified on how it'll be with 2 buuuut we'll see when I get to crossing that bridge lol

@amberjacq, I feel the same! I’m just like nope can’t go through all of that again 😂 I mean my experience wasn’t near that bad and I’m still terrified of the thought! Plus 2 babies at home 24/7 with hardly any help would be so exhausting and hard. My daughter is handful herself and she’s so artsy he’s like I can’t be out of her sight for more than about 3 mins without her screaming bloody murder and she can not stand for me to even hold someone else’s baby.

@mother.of.2, that’s the other thang that terrified me is being gone with 2 littles. I might lose my mind. It was hard when I was babysitting a little girl a year older than mine I can imagine what it would be like to actually have 2 of my own all of the time 😂

@caseyann19 lol fr that's what I said also, I'm like trying to see what I can do to make it a little easier like invest in a bouncer and swing (I didn't have those with my first) so hopefully it helps a little, plus I'm dreading naps, like how will my Lo nap with my eldest little monster is running around yelling and babbling away lol hoping he copes and adjusts to the noises lol

@caseyann19, Lol I don’t get any help at all my husband works nights and is also a police officer, and has to sleep when he is home so I don’t get any help I’m on my own all day and all night it’s definitely a struggle but I’m glad I get the opportunity to be a stay at home mom even tho it’s hard work but I understand completely that’s also one of my reasons for not wanting anymore children because I’m doing it all on my own
