@lex105, we were told it's nothing serious, that it's very common, and that once the rash appears the worst is over. He had four days of a high, stubborn fever, and then when the fever broke the rash appeared. The scariest part was the fever, which can get too high and cause issues, but the rash itself is the end. His rash lasted about 36 hours. And I believe she said that he wasn't contagious anymore once the rash appeared, but I kept him home anyway.
@nomli, oh ok! He got shots Wednesday, then had a fever all day Thursday it wouldn’t go away highest it got was 101 but then Friday he was fine Friday night he started getting the rash, then Saturday it was all over.
@lex105, yeah, it doesn't last long. His fever wouldn't go below 102 for three days, no matter what medicine he had. Highest was 103.6 I think. The fourth day I got it down into the 101s and I was over the moon excited, haha. We had gone to Babies R Us the day before the fever started, so I think he caught it there.

@nomli, my son had Roseola when he was around 1 year old. We had the same experience as you with the high fever, and then the rash when fever broke.
