What will my doctor do if I tell her I’m depressed and I can’t handle the pain anymore because I’m very uncomfortable at this point and I don’t know how much longer I can be like this.
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
Interesting subject. First of all I ff for medical reasons but I am in no way against bf. I encourage it. Well I was talking to my Grammy about the meds they prescribe after birth and that I won't be taking the pain meds just the ibuprofen because they always make me sick. She said she remembers when they would come in to give her her pain meds after birth and there was a little red pill. She asked what it was for and they told her to dry up her milk. Also that they were in the hospital for a week and didn't see their babies till they were leaving. And that the husbands could not be in the delivery room. It's just crazy how so much has changed. Even since I was born. I'm 25.
