^ agreed. Men aren’t mind readers. Half the time you NEED to tell them that you like certain things done or else it’s just fighting. Same goes for us, I can’t read my husbands mind.

I disagree with both, men need to be told what you need/expect in order to give you that. They don’t think like women nor need what a woman needs therefore they need to be told.

You shouldn't have to tell a man to be kind, to be understanding, to be considerate.

However, specific things should be communicated

I don’t always know what my husband needs, so I can’t expect him to know what I need. Some things are obvious, like what @newlyironman said.
