Do any of you reminisce about the partying days when you were young? I am tonight. I miss hanging…

Yep but i lived my party days out to the fullest, traveled and got on many “levels” lol and got all that out of my system before starting my family and now, I do often reflect on the good times I had partying, this is the happiest I’ve ever been

i got pregnant at 21 never really had partying days except going to kick backs when I was in hs lol but I do miss having friends 😂😅

@damians_mommy, @inkedsouthernbelle, @eezyx2, @amberjacq, for me it’s not the going out and drinking. It’s the friendships I miss the most. I’m happy with my kids, but I also need human interactions and friendships

@mumstasin, I know exactly how you feel i’m with my son 24/7 dont really get time for myself 😅

@damians_mommy, Exactly. I have 2 under 2 and I’m working full time. Sometimes I just feel trapped. Like, life is hard trying to balance a full time job while still trying to be a active parent. I wish I could quit my job tho.

@mumstasin, yeah that’s another way of looking at it and I know what you mean. I graduated college and worked on the pipeline traveling for 6 years and met some amazing people from all over the US and even the world and we’re all still friends for life but now we just don’t talk to see each other anymore other than posts on Facebook. I miss physically being around my huge groups of friends from all walks of life and just partying and having fun. Now THATS something I get sentimental about come to think of it

@mumstasin, i have a 10 month old & im a sahm i wish i had a job at times... but then i think about how lucky i am to be with my son all the time because not many mommies get that. your hard work will pay off ❤️

@inkedsouthernbelle, that sounds like a bunch of unforgettable memory! And I get what you mean about the Facebook! I see most of the people I went to hs with traveling and doing things, and I’m just at home or working. I wish I could travel with my family instead of having to live this corporate job life. I always tell my husband “life shouldn’t be this hard” I say that not because of my kids, but because I leave the house at 6:15am with both my kids to drop them off at daycare, and I don’t get home until 5pm. As soon as I get home it’s to start dinner, get the kids ready for bed after, clean the kitchen and then finally bathe myself and it’s 10pm and time for bed. The next day do it all over. I’m honestly just burnt out

@damians_mommy, enjoy the time you are a sahm! Or if anything get a little part time job! Being a server is great! I was a server for a long time before I got a corporate job. I liked the server job better to be honest. I feel like I was making the same amount of money, but working less hours

@mumstasin, that’s why vacations are so important. It’s good for the mind, body and soul

@damians_mommy I was 21 when I had my oldest so exactly the same here and a little bit of partying in college up until I got prego lol I just miss going and spending time with friends and being able to be care free and spontaneous but of course I love my babies and wouldn't trade them for anything

No! I’m so glad that is behind me, and that it didn’t last that long either. I have always wanted to be a wife and mother and it makes me so happy (I also work full time- makes it tough!). Now I do occasionally think back on when I could go out to dinner, movie, or a spa even at the last minute without a series of complex tasks- not that it’s impossible, just you know, a hell of a lot harder, especially when your friends are moms too!!!

I also do miss those days. Since I got pregnant at 22. However I did have so much fun going to clubs and drinking with my friends. But sometimes us moms need “me time” for a little while. I envy the moms who can go out and still have fun. I see it all the time where I am from.

Yes all the time! I complain I want to go out so I go out and have girls night and by 9pm I’m ready to go home. Than, I look at my bar tab the next day and end up so mad at myself for spending so much money on alcohol only to end up so hung over. It usually takes me a week to recover now vs when I was younger I could be up all night and take a 4hr nap to get up and party again. So after an evening of partying I’m good for a year lol.
