Throwbacks to my D.C. trip last year. We were invited back to the NIH and we drove there from N. Idaho, it took three days to get there with the stops we made, seeing people, Hershey etc. Though, it was a great experience and awesome time by day 10 of being gone I literally cried at a bus stop because I was so homesick. Was gone another 5 days. Don't think I could ever do that long again. The National History Museum is awesome, Hershey is awesome and as is the museum. The NIH is simply amazing! We had gone for some testing on my best friend's sons because they are doing research on their condition and the staff is so great, the facility is huge and made friends with some of the doctors who were so great to work with. We stayed at the Children's Inn just across from the Institute of Health. It's some amazing things they do.

One fun fact I learned that I didn't know was that the Rats of NIMH actually takes place right there in D.C. at the NIMH.. at the national institute of mental health.. I never put that together lol
