So I have a yeast infection. I went to Walmart today and got the 7 day Monistat, which is the cream that you insert inside you. And HOLY CRAP it makes it burn and itch 10X more 😭 I tried getting out as much as I can but I am dying. I guess a lot of people have this problem, so I’ll stick to rubbing the cream around it not in it.

@damn.it.red, I told my doctor and she told me to get the 7 day monistat and if it doesn’t go away within a few days call back

@kierstenlindley25, you can get the cream or the suppositories. The suppositories work better and aren’t as messy, in my opinion.

It's because your vaginal.is so irritated from the infection. If you don't put the medicine in it won't stop the infection.

my ob only recommends the 7 day during pregnancy & The first 3 days are awful then the burning subsides significantly.
I have gotten 2 yeast infections this pregnancy and last time was over 7 yrs ago with my 1st born. ugh they are the worst.
the burning feeling is the medicine working lol
