@ariasmommy0816, please reach out to your doctor, and they will be able to work with you to find a dose that will work better. And @spookylyn gave a great suggestion to check with your pharmacist for breastfeeding-safe meds. This will help ease your mind, while also guiding you and your doctor to medications that will help you feel better.
I had PPD as well, and took my medication for about a year, and then decided to try things without meds and by that point, I did fine. Good luck to you momma, I know how tough it can be! 💕
@ariasmommy0816 honestly nothing. I still deal with it. Its just not as bad. Medicine does help. Definitely try a new one or a different dose. Just the means of finding what works for you
@scruffy.nerf.herder, this my first time on depression meds. I been on them for 6 months. I didn’t know you can use higher.
@ariasmommy0816, Zoloft (sertraline) is safe to take while breastfeeding. You may just need a higher dose.
@spookylyn, I breast feed and they tell me I have to stop to get something strong but I dont want to stop because every one says its good for her.
I suffered with it with my first. And even a little with my second. My kids are a year apart and even sometimes I still feel like it's still here.
@hazelnautumnsmomma125, I take Zoloft like my doctor proscribes but some times I shut down and my boyfriend has to the baby. @spookylyn, I hope not. My boyfriend thinks im crazy.
@scruffy.nerf.herder, thank you so much.
