Are there any SAHM’s who feel like they suck at being a housewife and SAHM? Or is it just me..? 😅

Oh, I definitely suck. My SO does all the housework and cooking when he’s home. I just take care of our baby...😅🙃

I just told my husband the other day “I can only be a good mom or a good wife.. get your pick, I can’t do good at both”😂😂😂

Yeah I feel that way sometimes. All I usually do is take care of the kids and tidy up here and there. I cook once in a while but not often and my boyfriend does most of the actual cleaning

@miaheka, I was like that in the first 4 months, but then my husband talked with me about how hard he works and that I don’t have to do everything, but I should try a couple things while he’s away. And he was right, I just felt like it was impossible to get anything done. Now I just try my best to get at least 2-3 things done in a day. 🤷🏽‍♀️ it’s the least I can do since he’s working full time I guess. I just suck at it though 😓

@mamaofzuri, I don’t mind cleaning, I just hate how repetitive it gets 🙄. I’d rather clean than cook, I hate cooking and I’m so bad at it. Yes! I get that! I rarely get motivation to clean the whole house and when i do it’s freaking wonderful! But every other day I just watch the house get worse and worse and clean a little here and a bit there. Idk how it gets so messy I mean Oscars only crawling. I can only imagine how much worse it’ll get when he actually walks.

@sarasmilesatyou, my baby will sit in his froggy chair and be fine with being not held but you still HAVE to show him so much attention or he yells at you 😂😂😂

I take being a housewife as a job. I have a schedule and I follow it for the most part. I have days off because some times I just dont feel like cleaning or cooking.

And so far it has worked for us. I am happy, our girls are happy and SO is happy😁

@mamaofzuri, I just don’t have time to food prep or cook. I’m so bad at cooking I just hate it. 😓 the worst room in our house is between the living room and our room. Oscar takes all the DVD’s out and he started to throw his toys all over the place and go fetch them lol. That’s where I change him most times. Idk what happens in my house anymore 😅

@briannalynn547, aww that’s sweet. Oscar wants me to hold and or touch him and give him as much attention as possible or he will freak out and cry. He doesn’t even like to see me eat in front of him 😒

@sarasmilesatyou, It is impossible to do anything with a newborn. My SO and I had a similar talk, and we’re basically waiting for B. to be at the age where he can play with his toys while I get things done around the house. He’s 4 months now, and it’s still impossible to get anything done. 😓🙃 You’re not the only one girl, I suck at it too. 😂 I’m afraid to cook, so I go the entire day without eating anything. It’s awful. 😣

@miaheka, I had the same mindset! But it’s even harder! And my baby is crawling everywhere so it’s near impossible! You gotta eat though girl! The food you eat helps your supply and helps feed your sweet LO, he can wait lol.
