Anyone know how to get rid of yellow jackets? There is three of them and I tried spraying them with…

Pest control service. If there’s only 3, smash them. But if there’s a nest somewhere, you won’t get them out without pest control. I dealt with this last year when they got into the wall of our house and began crawling all over us and one even ended up stinging me. Those little shits are mean and they don’t drop their stingers when they sting you.

@thatbeachyblonde I haven't seen a nest yet but they have been here since summer started. I've called our apartment manager but they don't answer.

@mommyof.3, Where are you seeing them? If they’ve been there that long, there’s definitely a nest. Sometimes you have to sit and watch where they’re coming from to find out where the nest is. If you can’t get ahold of the manager, you may need to just take matters into your own hands and call the exterminator. Still to this day we have no idea how they got into our house because we taped EVERY single hole shut and they still got in. But as soon as the exterminator got the nest out, we never had a problem again. They build quick too.

@thatbeachyblonde I have only ever seen 2 of them. The third one is new. I know exactly where they go and have sprayed there and only the same 2 have come out.

@mommyof.3, If you see any more I’d definitely give the exterminator a call. Our issue was having multiple of them crawling on me at night and all over our room.

@mommyof.3, Never hurts to call and see if they’ll come out and look for you. I’d totally do that for a peace of mind thing.

We're currently dealing with that. Wasps, yellow jackets, and cicada killers. Pest control has been out twice to spray and the damn cicada killers just keep moving their nest. They sell a spray that is supposed to kill them, so maybe buy that and try, but if there's a nest you'll probably need professional help.

@nomli our apartment manager has someone coming out Monday so i am doing homemade stuff until then. But I won't be going outside for a while.

@mommyof.3, haha. Yeah. The cicada killers are all over our front porch and yard, so I refuse to go out front. Our garage is in the back, at least, but that means I leave the trash and mail to my fiance.

That's good. I seem to recall that smoke calms bees, too, so you can smash 'em, but I don't know how I'd feel walking around with something on fire.

@nomli these are yellow jacket wasps. Worse then bees lol. If it were bees I would be calmer but I hate wasps. I really don't want to wait until Monday.

I call them all bees, haha. I hate them all. Except bumblebees....They're cute.
