Is 40 weeks considered 10 months pregnant?🤔

I believe once you complete your 40th week, it will be considered starting your 10th month

At 4 weeks you have completed the first month, 8 completed second, 12 completed third so I would assume at 40 weeks you would have completed the 10th month and be full term.

@mommyofaqueen What I just read is that once you hit 41 weeks you are considered late term. 39 weeks is full term as baby is fully developed and would be perfectly healthy to come but still considered in term at 40 weeks. Which would be the end of month 9. Sorry, I honestly thought my math was accurate but somehow I got mixed up.

Oh ok I see now lol I asked because my husband is going crazy thinking that his little girl has been in there a month over time I’m due tomorrow but I also turn 40 Weeks tomorrow

In normal calculations yes it’s 10 lol but the way they calculate now is beyond confusing
