Where I live people just bring their dogs in the store without it being a service dog

I have a service dog for my anxiety and I get a lot of weird stares when people see her with her vest on because of her breed shes a whippet most people tell me she belongs on a track I've had a manager follow me around the store asking to see her paperwork cause" she doesn't look like a service dog" when she clearly had on her vest and tags

@amommyofone, @pettybetty, legally nobody in a store can harass you for bringing a service dog in. When i worked at Walmart we weren’t even allowed to look at people with dogs sideways, because they were worried they’d get sued for discrimination lol. So if anyone gives you shit, give it right back.

@braindeadmama lol it was at my local publix they kept telling me I needed to take my dog outside that there are no pets allowed in the store and that I needed to show him proof that she's a service dog he got even more pissy when I wouldn't let him touch her to look at her tags I showed him her Id card i have in my wallet and it clearly says on her vest please do not touch im working
