I'm not new to this buuut I have a huge gap between my 3 yr old and almost 14 yr old so I sorta forgot lol.... My 3 yr old has been potty trained since he was 2 my question is, How do I get him out of these darn pull ups that he uses at bed time? Any mom's have a good night time remedy? It's almost 9pm where I'm at and he asked for juice and I told him no and I feel horrible 🙁 I hate telling him no... Thanks 💙

Cutting off or atleast limiting fluids by a certain time before bed helps a lot, for sure.

@gorgeousmay42217 thank u! He hasn't had anything to drink in a few hours and he just went potty. I'm sure u know it's hard to tell these cute little faces no lol but I want him on some kind of schedule or night time routine... I want to do no fluids after 8pm, Do u think that's a great time?

@nicoletyra I do know lol, helping train and raise 5 younger siblings has proven helpful but it was difficult haha. We did between 6 and 7, it was about 1-1.5 hrs before their bedtime. I think it really depends on when you want your munchkin in bed. Just so that there is all the time needed for it all to get through his system so he can go potty before bed and not habe it in him anymore.

@gorgeousmay42217 he pretty much be emptied out once he goes he doesn't really have many accidents I've had the same pull ups almost a month I got them when I was on a trip and that was in June. He doesn't have a bedtime schedule as of yet bec I can't tell him no lol It breaks my heart to hear him cry or get upset he's my 5th living child and I've always been a softy for my babies lol. I'm not starting a schedule until he starts school so I'm trying to get the night time potty training down first, I don't want to keep waking him in the middle of the night and he has to go to school...

@nicoletyra As long as you know he is completely empty it should be fairly easy to keep him from having them. Of course it won't go away immediately, he will probably still have some accidents at night just because he is little; but him being empty will definitely end the majority of them.
