Ladies I have gained 40 Lbs already 😖😲 but anyways
With NY first pregnancy I tested negative for Group strep B
This is my 2end pregnancy & she told me today I tested positive....
Anyone else have this happen
I had GBS with both our sons and I kind if just figure I will this time also. They will start you on an antibiotic drip when you get to the hospital. They try to get 2 bags in before delivery and you'll need to deliver within 18 hrs of your water breaking. I've never had any complications from it.
@jessig2006 oh okay I thought it was bad or something but she said no not really everyone has it sometimes its active sometimes its not
@brittanymhestehave everyone has the virus its just not active all the time but its more likely to be active while pregnant
@keeondracarroll01 it sounds scary and if you Google it may freak you out. But it's common enough that they will make sure to take care of you and baby 😊 try not to stress about it. With our second I didn't even get a full bag of fluids before he came shooting out and everything was fine

@brittanymhestehave you've got a 50/50 chance but remember that your doctor is there and always happy to answer any questions you might have. I had no idea what it was either with our first. And of course instead of talking to my doctor about it I went to Google. There's good info but there's also alot of stuff that will striaght our scare you. Have a conversation with your doctor about it. They should be able to ease your mind 😊
@keeondracarroll01 I wish I knew why you get it sometimes and not others. I have a friend who randomly had it with her 3rd out of 4.
@jessig2006, yaaas the dr says never go on google because they scare you! If you look up a cough they say ohh its a heart attack or shortness of breath watch out your gonna die 😂
@brittanymhestehave k was kinda familiar with it BC my sister in law had it but I never did that's why google didn't really freak me out lmao
I had group A Streptococcus & didn’t know & I have high fevers 101.5 to 103 high heart rate & vomiting non stop I had to be admitted to hospital during my stay I lost my baby boy 2 days ago due it...
