I’m sure most of the moms on here remember being tested for Group B Strep, and that is the leading cause of neonatal meningitis. Meningitis can be passed from mother to child before that baby has even met the world.

The article isn’t very reliable as it clearly states they aren’t sure if his 4 month vaccinations included meningitis which if that baby was vaccinated at 8 weeks he’d have had the immunity by his 4 month vaccinations two days before he died. Any author would look into what those vaccinations cover and the ages they cover for. That being said HIB doesn’t cover all forms of meningitis, my nephew passed away of meningitis that was not the strain your vaccinated for. The strains of meningitis are endless, and I see babies in NICU that are born with it on occasion. I totally stand for vaccinations (I’m a nurse) and my kids are vaccinated. You cant blame some “unvaccinated” person for his meningitis if he was vaccinated then it wasn’t that strain, and if they can’t tell what his vaccinations included...that’s another red flag.
