Got prescribed much-needed lexapro but insurance doesn’t cover & its $127 for a one month supply. No way I can afford that each month so i get to just deal with it😩😭😢
@lovelily, how long have you been off and was it easy to tell when was a good stopping point? Did you struggle a bit in the following months to find your “happy place” without it?
For three years I was on it. It was fine unless I ever missed a couple doses. Then it was the Devil. And when I went cold turkey after finding out I was pregnant.....let's just say it was single handedly the most horrible thing I have ever done to myself. Ever. Just make sure you remember all doses and taper off very slowly if ever want to stop. VERY slowly.
@heidi3581 it works best for my depression but I feel that it works pretty well for me
YAASSS YOU GUYS I AM SOOO HAPPY RN! Thank you so much im having them transfer it over. Onto my next question is it working out for you? For the depression more or for anxiety more? Feel free to pm your answer if you don’t want it public I’m just really nervous to start on a med.. @lovelily, @boymomx3, @hazelnautumnsmomma125,
I have never been off an anti depressant for long. I have chronic depression. I tried lexapro when my Zoloft was maxed out. Three weeks without lexapro (cold turkey) when I found out I was pregnant was utter HELL. I started back on a small dose of Zoloft to ease the withdrawal symptoms and stayed on it ever since. So, technically, there has never been a "happy place" without some type of meds for myself.
