So am I wrong for feeling some type of way about this!? I cut my mom out of my life for good reasons, and it’s been months since I’ve talked to her she texts here and there but it’s never to ask how me or my kids are doing it’s always about one of my other sisters... and when I tell her don’t contact me if it’s just going to be about them that she could at least ask how me and her grandkids are instead of just texting me about my sisters then she gets mad, like wtf this is one of the reasons I don’t want you in mine or my kids life 🙄 you want to pretend you “care” but you haven’t seen my oldest since he was 9 months old and you’ve never met my 2 youngest... I just can’t stand that every time she does contact me it’s never to see how me and my kids are it’s always about someone else, am I wrong for this!?

If she's cut off you shouldn't be in contact at all. Why do you care she should be dead to you if you've truly cut her off. Block her number stop engaging unless you want a relationship with her.

My mom is the same. Never met B. and hasn’t seen me in 9 years, but constantly texts me bs concerns about my promiscuous sister who moved out of her house to a different state. It’s aggravating. I don’t bother texting her back either. 🤷🏻♀️

My mom abandoned me twice as a kid. Never tried to contact me for the 9 years that I live with my dad. Then when I turned 18 she called me and said pack my s*** that she was coming to get me. So of course by the way she spoke to me I decided not to go stay with her. Finally when I was about 22 years old I went to stay with one of my aunts and my aunt told my mom and she came to visit me. She made me feel guilty because she was sick and that having me in her life made her feel better so that was the only reason I was really in her life. To this day I regret that because when I was pregnant she kicked me out on New Year's Day it was -17 degrees outside I had to pack that whole day. I got sick for about 2 weeks since I wasn't able to take any medication. She never asked when I'm left how I was doing how my baby was doing. Then recently now that my son is already about 4 months old, she calls after not speaking to her for about 7 months and says to come over that she misses and loves me and to bring her grandson that she needs us in her life. It's the same drama over and over again. It's better for my son not to have her in his life because cuz she's going to be in and out and that's not fair to him.

@fakoffyeh, yeah it’s always been the same! Even when we was younger and she got custody back of me and my sister it was always about them... so I thought it best just to not have anything to do with her!

@mommy_x3 she's got issues lol but me and my son are fine without her. You and your fanily will be too. If you have any contact with your mom you are allowing her to think she can continue what shes doing so,its best to have no contact even if it makes you feel a little sad

@fakoffyeh, yeah I haven’t spoke to my real dad in probably about 5-6 years! And I’m going to block her cause I’ve had my number changed a few times and she always ends up getting it somehow 🤦🏻♀️

@jasminev91, I agree with you! It won’t upset me lol me and my kids will be just fine without her.. we found an awesome family within my husbands family so it doesn’t bother me!
