Sorry for my typos before. But yes it's usually one of the many ways our bodies begin showing signs of preparing for labor. The gastric contractions can set off uterine contractions that help labor begin. I had this with my most recent baby(2.5 months old) about 1 week before she was born. My prelabor was about 2 weeks and actual labor about 24-36 hours before active labor and transition when I felt the contractions begin just a couple hours before she was born. And the need to eliminate continued while I was at the hospital up until just before she was born. Best of wishes! Here's to a happy, healthy mommy and baby!!!
