I really wish theyd just let me go home today. Its been over 24 hours, im walking, eating, peeing and passing gas and am not on any strong pain meds. Theres legit no reason i need to stay another night here.. Lylas doing great too were both ready to go home.... only flaw they found in my blood work is low iron but not like staying in the hospital is gonna change that any faster than at home

@mom4m that's a little more understandable why they're not letting you leave yet. I know it sucks but it's for the best. C sections have a lot of risks attached them.

With my CS I was only in the hospital for a total of 46 hours

I left after 48 hours with my c section. I know you may feel great, as did I, but 48 hours after major surgery is when any kind of complications could show up (infection, blood clot, etc) so they just want to make sure you’re all good!

I asked my dr. To discharge me after 48 hrs because it was xmas and I was the only one there I was lonely and all was fine tho I could have stayed a full week

@leahkay its my 4th. The nurse is like you can leave in the morning but imma argue with my doc about it cuz theres no point in making me wait a couple hours especially if i can juat go to the clinic in the morning and get checked out if need be

Lol I had to stay almost 4 whole weeks after my c section 🙄🙄 consider yourself lucky when you get to leave tomorrow!! Congrats on the newborn💜

@mrs.letty.luna im waiting for my doc to show up. Hes such a poke. He got out the clinic at about 5 anf its now 7 and he hasnt shown up to the hospital. Sucks cuz now my fiance had to leave so im stuck here. Another night of no sleep for me

@mom4m, He should’ve come right over after the clinic closed at 5. Definitely should not have taken time to eat dinner or see his family while you’re waiting on him.
