Responding to the obviously medical practitioners on mom life whose offended by my post.medicine isn’t a one treatments fits all practice. it’s case by case you don’t have someone’s medical history to make a medical decision for them, that’s why their doctors made whatever call they made. That’s my stance so idc what research you’ve done. you do not have that person medical history or chart sitting in front of you, and if you did I’m sure you wouldn’t know how to read it. no don’t blindly listen to a doctor do your research but do understand what the whole situation is and ask for a second opinion if you think something your doctor said is wrong, but ask another doctor !

I don't think there's anything wrong with giving your opinion especially if you have had experience yourself. I've talked to people about what might be wrong or what might help with what. But I always always tell them to talk to her doctor. People aren't coming on here to get doctor advice from us. They're getting our opinions maybe they've already contacted their doctors and they're waiting for a call back and they're just looking for someone who might have had experience to kind of put their mind at ease if it's not that big of a deal. In my opinion there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

@coffeeislife, I’m not talking about ppl giving out opinions that’s what the app is for to share our experiences to help other moms be at ease and find guidance I’m talking about the moms whose flat out saying someone’s doctor is absolutely wrong without knowing anything about that persons medical history and why that doctor may have made the decision that they made

@lee-lee well sure, it is true that doctors can be wrong but it really isn't that often.

@coffeeislife, that’s very dangerous because no one knows what underlying medical issues that person may have that could have prompted that doctor to make whatever call that they made at least tell the person to ask their doctor if this situation may work for them but don’t try to be a regular stay at home mom discrediting a licensed practitioner.

I totally get what you saying and I'm with you 100% when I was pregnant I had moms in my inbox telling me this and that about what my Dr should and shouldn't do.

@queenteria, exactly and you get what I’m saying because you know the difference between the word advice and opinion. They all attacking me because they want to share their opinion meanwhile I didn’t mention anything about opinions I said ADVICE.
