How long after delivery will my feet stop being swollen sausages? Because I cannot fit any of my shoes right now.
@muva.tings yes whenever u can and try to stay off of them. I was bad about that because I wanted to walk to get the baby out lol
@aussiekiss thank you, that gives me a bit of hope lol I do now know to keep them elevated.
I had a c section & swollen feet 2 weeks prior & a few days before I had my baby they were so swollen I had to go to the dr and they did an ultrasound on my legs and feet bt I guess it was all good. To answer ur question, the swelling went down I wanna say almost 2 weeks after delivery. I had a lot of anesthesia from my c section too so
@princessrose I have an appointment tomorrow so i'll ask about it and just keep my feet up when I get home tonight. Whenever im on my feet they swell up and then go back down. But, they check my pee every appointment and haven't said a thing.
@ohnstadk well they dont hurt they seem full of liquid or w/e the hell is making them plump up. I had some juice today but ive been nonstop drinking ice water.
@noahs.mommy lmaooo i hate when they do some shit and dont elaborate like hey lady dont say hm and not tell me whats going on thats gonna make me stress
Took me about 2 weeks. I was induced, however, and had a lot of fluid going into me. No matter what I did my body just had to work through it on its own. I also had told my OB about my swelling early on in pregnancy and they kept saying it was normal when I stand all day at work. Come into my 37 week appointment and I had protein in my urine for the first time. I was developing preeclampsia and was induced 4 days later. It gets better!
@ohnstadk, yeah maybe. I really have no idea cause she did it said “hm” then went on about her business writing stuff down then did our normal stuff lol
@noahs.mommy it's likely to test the swelling and hydration level, the pinching I mean
@muva.tings, yeah idk what it means but I went to my Ob appointment one day and she took her index finger and thumb and like lightly squeezed my ankle/foot she didn’t say a single word but maybe yours will if it means something weird lol
@noahs.mommy I have a doctors appointment tomorrow haven't seen my Ob in two weeks. I'll definitely show him tomorrow.
@kimyb holy shit, looks like i won't be in any of my shoes for a while. My shoes are only making it a bit past my toes right now. I have on a pair of my moms size 11 open toed shoes rn because I didn't want to be at a wake in nike sandals lol. All i've been drinking is water. I'll def keep them up from now on i've still got 4 weeks until my due date.
Drink water until it comes through your nose and keep feet elevated as much as possible. Get gentle foot rubs and exercise.
Today is day 11 and im just seeing some improvement. Still cant fit into any of mine. I wear size 7. Preggo feet were 7.5 and now post preggo have me wearing my fiance size 13 slippers. Lol . Its the only thing that's comfortable.
@ohnstadk no fucking waaaay. I was just told they may get bigger after delivery looks like i'm going barefoot lol
My boyfriend bought me adjustable flip flops and I ran out of adjustable space :/
@noahs.mommy omg these bad boys are huge now I can't imagine them getting bigger.
@aussiexjane i've got them up rn lol tomorrow and wednesday are busy days though so maybe i'll ice them at night idk
