I thought you get a 10-15 break for every 2 hours worked and at least a 30 min lunch ....

I’m in Ohio. You’re allowed to pump as often as necessary. They’re breaking the law by not allowing sufficient time to pump. 2-3 is the normal and about 15-20 minutes each time. You’d think working in the medical field they’d know this.

@driastewart, after 6 hours I believe you’re entitled to 2- 15 minute breaks and a half hour as well. I’m not sure if that varies by state though. I’d also review the pumping laws in your state.

@laniejay, that’s all they allow us to take. One 15 minute break & a 30 minute lunch. It sucks when I’m used to pumping every 2 hours.. I wouldn’t even mind pumping every 3 hours but that’s out the question

You’re entitled to at least 3 breaks during a 10 hour shift. Why are you only getting 2?
