So I've been bathtub soaking clothes and the water is disgusting

I can only imagine how gross the water would be if i soaked my husband's clothes.

Are these clean clothes your soaking or dirty and what’s the point

@morganavery3 no there dirty at the moment my washer is broken and I dont feel like taking them to my mother in laws so yeah

I know the feeling I wash my husband's clothes and our clothes as well by hand because I don't feel like going to the laundromat and we would have to ride the bus but hey, whatever works🤷🙌🙌

@yvelid @mother.of.2 I dont know why people like discourage people for it. It's just like putting your laundry in a washer. You run the water you put your soap in there throw your clothes is and you scrub and then I wait 30 minutes and scrub them again the I take them out on my back porch to let them dry

@letmegetagrip exactly it's just like back then and we just became lazy that we had to make machines to do it for us which don't get me wrong I would love to have a washer and dryer but on our budget we just can't afford it which isn't anybody's fault but you make do with what you have and the point is is to get clean clothes there's no right or wrong way to do it

@mother.of.2 my grandfather and my mom made me hang clothes outside I dont see anything wrong with it

@yvelid my son split all his milk on 3 blankets I threw them in the tub. I just dont want mold to be on them or them to start smelling
