This is so sad. It's not right but I can't even say with 100% she was to blame. Her hospital should have known she was on the methadone and sent someone to make sure she was okay and not abusing. I have to commend her for even bf to begin with and she didn't sound awful she just sounded addicted and helpless. Poor mom and poor baby.
@kambam, I have terrible connection I’m trying to upload the rest of it. But she stopped breastfeeding, and was too tired to go down stairs to make a bottle, knowing well that more than methadone was in her system. I understand bring a new mom is tiring, but I would never deny my child a bottle of milk that wouldn’t hurt her.
She probably wasn't thinking straight. Not defending her I just try to think of all sides to the story. I know the justice system can often be unfair as well.
