We get a new puppy (she is 2) schedule to get her spayed as early as possible (July 30th) she goes into heat on the 10th....Find out she doesn't have her kennel cough vaccine (they literally never did it) we do it so she can get the knots cut out of her hair (bad by her ears) the groomer says ok we are good 3 days later she goes to the groomer....9 days later we get literally no sleep because she has kennel cough!! Vet appt. Now to be sure it is KC and get her meds plus figure out what to do about our other dog as it us highly contagious for 10-14 days. This is NOT how I planned to spend this very painful part of my first pregnancy. I am so stressed, exhausted, hurt, and feel like I an barely keeping it together. I broke down crying last night I was just so upset and overwhelmed by things we were lied to about from my aunts (previous dog owners). Whew, sorry I just needed to put this out there somewhere where my aunts wouldn't be all typical doggy parent life (p.s. it's not...they should have spayed her when they said they were, and my other dog we have had 6 years and she has never gotten KC).
