See my little one this time is above the 10th centile. They do like to induce before if there below as they really are better off gaining weight on the outside as they can gain alot more.

@liya.bowie She was in special care for a week just to get her feeding and gaining weight then she was home. 😊 she's now a happy healthy thriving 4 year old!! Labour was very painful and I ended up with a c section as she was getting really stressed out. They say that contractions can stress smaller babies out and sort of squash them. I was just happy to have her out safely.

You will have to have injections before they induce you l, if they do, to insure babies lungs are at there best so they are ready for the big wide world abit earlier 😊 hope I've helped a little xx

Yeah, last week I had a scan and the baby measured 2295 grams (at 35+5), the doctors were concerned and said I might need to be induced at 37 weeks. Today I had another scan, the baby weighs 2411 grams (5 days later). So he has gained 116 grams within 5 days. The placenta and the cord are all functioning good and the measurements are fine. It’s just that the weight is just under the 10th centile. I don’t want to be induced as long as my baby is gaining weight (maybe not very quickly). How was your baby after induction and how did the labor go? Xx good to find moms who had similar experience

@liya.bowie there happy with it. He's on the small side but still gaining and putting on about 1lb every 2 weeks so as long as that carries on I don't have to be induced and can go full term. With my daughter I was induced at 37 weeks as she was 3lb15oz. Is your baby measuring small? Xx
