My little boy was just turned one when he had his first plane ride. We have him's bottle for take of and landing to help his ears although it didn't really bother him.. Plenty of snacks and maybe iPad to keep her busy. How long is your flight?x

Bring plenty of snacks and a few favorite, portable toys, maybe a tablet with some preloaded shows and some toddler headphones. We just got back traveling across the country and she mostly slept and snacked.

@kerryy23 @haslberry Thanks ladies!!! I wonder if straw cups would work like the bottle (she's off the bottle). I have two coloring books with stickers, iPad with some shows and lots of different snacks.
It's only a 2.5 hour flight to Florida so it's not too long. Plus my husband, Mom and sisters are coming as well! She likes Grandma best haha!!

@cit0.bunni, straw cup would work fine. It's the swallowing that helps the ears stay open. My daughter had a straw cup and a 360 cup. To go through TSA, I just had empty cups, then filled them at a water fountain after we went through. Keep food items separate if you can so they can scan them easier.

Yeah as pp said it's the swallowing that helps the ears so a straw/sippy will be fine. Hope you have a stress flee flight! Xx

@haslberry @kerryy23 thank you both so very much!! I'm not a good flyer myself but I want to make this as easy as possible for her. Xoxo
