Putting the baby to breast, skin to skin and pumping (after 4-6weeks) is what you cab do to increase your milk flow.

I've breastfed 3 kids so far. Don't just assume you'll have a low milk supply, that's almost setting your self up for failure. You want to be careful in the beginning taking any milk boosting supplements or teas because usually when your milk first comes in you get engorged until it evens out after a couple days of nursing. When you're engorged it's easy to get mastitis so you don't want to make it any worse than it already is. I would recommend learning the signs of a well fed breastfed baby before you worry about boosting supply. Then once baby is here and you notice you are suffering from low supply, do something then. Thinking positive and doing as much research about breastfeeding will help you the most. That way you can know what to expect.

I'm a first time mom too, but in my research I've found the 2 things that seems to be the most important to not having milk drop in the first place is enough water being drank by mom and mom getting enough calories and nutrition to sustain it. Looks like oatmeal everyday is recommended to help supply. I'm planning on drinking a ton of water and eating oatmeal once a day, and only then if I don't have enough for my twins putting investment into the drinks, shakes and cookies you mention

Mothers milk tea, fenugreek, oatmeal, lots of water, dark chocolate. But what @leahkay said is really good advice.
