Bleeding/spotting after transvaginal ultrasound - normal?
Haven’t had anything accumulate on a pad but yesterday started bleeding during TVU. Was pink then red but only when I would go to the bathroom and wipe. Today it started out red and now it’s dark brown. Is this normal? Should I be worried?!

@briannalynn547, they know. The bleeding started at the ER yesterday during an ultrasound and my OB wants me to have levels rechecked and another ultrasound next week
I was told every time there was a chance of bleeding after but I’d still call the doctor !

@mamiiscorp, I have another blood draw tomorrow to make sure my numbers are going up. Yesterday was 1237. Another ultrasound scheduled for next Thursday the 19th. I’m so anxious to know if everything is ok or not.
Some women have a very sensitive cervix and do bleed a bit . If you aren't cramping I wouldn't be too nervous. You can definitely make a call to your doctor or women's health department at the hospital to make sure . Good luck ,don't stress.
I never personally bleed but I was warned that it could happen. Don’t worry.
