Ladies I had the iud implant in and I haven’t been able to find the string I called doc and he said sometimes it gets stuck in there and I haven’t bled so I’ve tested the past week and lines are getting darker is it normal to feel depressed I don’t want another baby I’m pissed !! Edited I’m 100 sure it got expelled while bleeding I do have a appointment now

@kristahuff99, neither my husband or I could find mine either but I saw it on the ultrasound. You’re braver than me, I’m scared to even take a test to check since I so badly don’t want to have my second baby yet.
@tiredmama0917, I don’t think mine is there I’ve checked hubbys checked and when I had it my back hurt it just instantly stopped hurting and now my test are getting darker every 3 days
My string is all bunched up and the two times I’ve gone in to get it checked they have to do an ultrasound to make sure it’s still in there. Makes me want to get it removed.
Well I hope it fell out rather then get out of place and still in there. If it is still in there and you are pregnant that's not good. Hope everything turns out ok dear

@kristahuff99, idk which IUD you have but I have mirena and a lot of the side effects of it are basically early pregnancy symptoms. Which is awful. I haven’t had my period is about 5 months (took tests the first couple months because it freaked me out) I get nauseous, have headaches, get crampy, etc. Apparently it’s very common. Which sucks considering the point of an IUD is to have peace of mind that you aren’t pregnant because it’s supposed to be so effective. I hope you get answers soon.
