My kids are my world!! I can’t imagine how people could harm their babies. I’m tired of seeing it on the news and social media. Why have kids if you’re not going to take care of them properly? I understand ppd is very real, but some people are just evil. The fact that you have to leave something “important” in the backseat with your KIDS just as a reminder that they are there is outstandingly insane. What’s more important than your KIDS? Some people let their small kids play outside alone while their in the house doing whatever. If something happens, how would you be able to explain why you don’t know what actually happened? So much is going on involving kids that it’s sickening. Everyone is fit to be a parent, no matter how badly they want to become one. It’s not like what you see on tv. Having kids takes a lot of patience, mental stability, understanding, etc. You can’t trust everyone with your kids either. Even family.

Such a sad sad world. I HATE hearing these news stories about children being hurt especially by their parents or relatives. 💔 definitely can’t trust anyone!

@dazzlingmommy, this is why I keep my kids close. They’re basically attached to me. I don’t trust anyone with my kids because nobody will care for them and their safety like I do.

My kids get on my last nerve somedays!! But I’ve never thought of hurting them. Especially in some of the crazy ways you read about! And I talk to my kid the entire car ride. We are singing and doing letters/numbers or something I don’t really understand needing to have a reminder that they are in there.

I had my two boys and 4 of my nieces and nephews today. The oldest being 10. And I told them no way were they going outside even in our backyard until I was out there! We have wonderful neighbors and a park behind our house but you just have no idea who might be sneaking around in that park!!!

@thathusie, EXACTLY!! That’s how I feel as well. My son is always with me 24/7 since he was born. I leave him with my husband for a little while if I have class. But other than that he’s with me. I feel for those moms who have to work and leave their kids with a babysitter or day care. Even those you can’t trust nowadays. 😞

@jessig2006, right! My yard is fenced and I still don’t allow kids to go out alone. I’m always present or my husband.

@liz41395, Yes that’s another thing!! When I heard people start saying “leave something important or valuable back there so you can remember your kid” like wtf?? Your kid isn’t enough?? You have to put your purse back there to remember?? What kind of shit is that? No matter how tired or in a rush I am, I can never imagine forgetting my kid in the car!!!! Like that’s just ridiculous.

@dazzlingmommy, same here. I rather have my kids with me. At birth we did skin to skin, and now we’re doing clothes to clothes 😂.
