Losing a home that you're buying...creating memories in, building neighboring relationships around, investing time and money in...can feel like losing a loved one - but thang is, it truly is not and only materialistic!
We recently "had" a beautiful home for 5 years. Young homeowners. I mentioned this before. But after several unforeseen circumstances leading to financial distress we ended up in several compromising positions, like many others have and will face.
Well, last night everything finally hit me and I cried it out after about 8 months post.
Unlike many other's who [don't] overstand- those who maybe depend on materials/ status to dignify themselves - or haven't faced distress of a certain magnitude yet...I have learned these things come and go and anyone's financial status can change at anytime (circumstances in general can change)...
And, when you're back is against the wall, will you fold? Will you make the best of what you do have? Will you keep pushing? Will you still be appreciative of those things unseen? Will you still be grateful for those things of no value? Will you still see love? Will you still show love?
State of mind matters! I advise to always make sure it's in order, your state of mind.
Because if not, when circumstances change, and I give you my word they will at some point...state of mind is the one of the most important factors (Along with support of loved ones).
