Who has experience with taking a young toddler to the movies? My daughter is 2.5 and I wanna take her to the new Hotel…

My son did well but fell asleep lol all kids are different though some may not be able to sit still for it

If she can sit through a movie at home, you are in good shape. Definitely take her to a matinee showing—- do they have sensory friendly ones in your area? Some theaters do and I hear its not just nice for special needs, but also the younger audience, there is a bit of light and the sound is down. In my area they also have special kid showings for summer. My daughter is not ready- she is older than yours but doesn’t even recognize movies on TV, only shows with music ( Little Baby Bum and Mother Goose Club).

We just went to a kids showing of Trolls. It was his first movie at the theater. He didn’t do to bad. He started getting restless during the last 20 minutes or so. I think it was making him tired sitting still.

I took my 2 and half and 5yr old to see Jurassic world they both wouldn't sit very long..it was stressful lol

Nope I learned my lesson! I don’t take any kids under 6 to the theater😂I haven’t had any good experiences and I would hate to be that ONE parent who brings a screaming child to a Movie. No Ma’am lol
