My husband and my mom were there for the birth of our first two and will be for this one also. If I let them his mom and his sister's probably would be also lol I also have a couple of friends that said they would be there if I wanted them there. But it is pretty sad. He can stand up by your head he doesn't have to look.

He doesn’t have to see anything happening during delivery. My husband stays at my head/upper torso because he wants to be able to support me but has no interest in seeing the baby come out. He also knows that I wasn’t alone in making the baby and that I don’t want to be alone in birthing the baby. Also, not every woman tears or screams like a wild person. You’re his wife and the mother of his child. He should man up and be there to support you.

Just remind him he’s lucky he doesn’t have to carry your child for 9 months, and then birth it, the least he can do is stand by your head and be supportive.

Don’t worry momma! All men I came across say that, but once it’s GO time they have no choice but to put there big boy panties on and watch the most amazing experience of there life time. My SO also told me he wasn’t going to watch due to being sexually traumatized but once I was in full blown labor he saw EVERYTHING and now he jokes about how big vaginas can get during birth😂Asshole!
