@lincolnsmommy18, @cams, @lifewithlynniejade88, I’d rather find some remedies rather than prescriptions or more medicines. I’m already taking stuff for blood clots and I don’t like mixing meds
Ok well I have silent reflux so in addition to meds I had to drastically change the way i eat. Here is what my ENT and GI doc have advised for diet:
Cut out all citrus foods. Lemon, orange, pineapple, tomato.. anything with high acidity. This includes pizza and pasta with tomato sauce 😪
Cut out high fat foods. Fried foods, full fat cheeses, milk, ice cream.
Eat lean meat. Chicken and fish are good. Red meat and pork can make reflux worse.
No chocolate. It relaxes the sphincter that holds the opening closed.
No caffeine, alcohol, carbonated beverages.
Don’t eat till you feel really full. That extra pressure also relaxes the valve and acid will make its way up. Lastly, don’t go to bed and lay down until it’s been at least 3 hours after eating. Your stomach needs time to digest dinner/dessert.

I take the hard core stuff. Mine was bad before pregnancy. I don’t want to imagine how much worse it will get 😩

Ok, apple cider vinegar then

Try a couple of tablespoons mixed in water or take it plain. Pickle juice will also help...
