I don’t have two kids, but I have seen other people in my life with the same worry and I will tell you that you won’t be able to give the same attention to both. But take each minute as it comes. Sometimes the younger one will need your attention and sometimes your older one will.

I have seen where people read a book to the older one when they’re feeding the younger. I know she’ll only be a year and a half but maybe try to make her a part of helping take care of the baby. Nothing crazy, but maybe bringing a diaper or “making” a bottle if you’re formula feeding.

Also, have someone (like you’re SO or a grandparent or you if you’re feeling up to it) take the older one out by themselves to give her a fun day so she still gets to have fun alone. The good thing is, babies at first are fine if you just lay them down. Lol. You could always lay your baby next to you while you play with your older one. It will be okay, I promise. Just don’t look at the big picture (I don’t because it’s stressful) just take each day as it comes and adapt to what’s happening around you. Also, my biggest help when my daughter was born was having a body carrier. That way we were close and she felt me but I was able to be hands free and get a lot of stuff done around the house.
