what’s something good to bathe babies with ? my bd makes it seem as if Baby Dove is 🚮

We use a lot of different ones. My personal favorite is Johnson and Johnson but I know A lot of people don't like them. We use baby dove sometimes and it makes his skin so soft.

I don't use soap until one year old. The oils in baby's skin are all they need. We sometimes do breastmilk baths. Every other week maybe.

@x_graveyard_baby_x, I breastfeed on demand and usually don't leave my sweet babe with anyone but my husband. My milk stash goes bad pretty quick, so we use the milk in baths. Softest skin you've ever had. SWEAR.

@northwoodsmomma that is really interesting, and why do you say no to baby dove? I haven't started shopping yet like we had planned on but I was going to put it on my list. I'm new at this so I'm hearing everyone out and learning new things.

@x_graveyard_baby_x, fragrance and chemicals. But I'm a crunchy hippie and I delay baths and rub in the vernix instead 🤷‍♀️ all the "baby" recommended stuff just dries out their skin so you buy more.

@livielogan99, just put a couple ounces of milk in the bath with you. I cobathe, so sometimes I just squirt breastmilk on my kiddos. Soooo many health benefits!

I always use mustela on my little ones.
